Thanks for the reply, Paul. I don't have enough knowledge to understand
the implications of there being no special driver and music path ha

Great. As mentioned, how about "SqueezeLitePCP" for the standard pCP

Before I go to the trouble... has anybody gone to the trouble of
mirroring Erland's repo and fixing stuff like the missing target

As garym notes above, LMS is not connected to either files or router via
wifi.
I'll be happy to connect the rPi by ethernet when I can replace the
cable (it was a separate problem that when it was it was tak

I just looked it up, we are using the "firmware" field. Maybe model is
harmless.
Give me a formatting option that works best, and it should be an easy
change.

I think I could easily make a standard model name, that would allow you
to grab it in

We don't have a repository of build scripts
Just got my new rPi 4B setup, running LMS with attached 4TB USB drive.
Using a flirc case for my 4B. Amazing cool temp for 4B with this case
(plus I did the 4B firmware update before installing piCorePlayer 6.0).
4B is running at 42. Older 3B+ (inside a metal case with hifiberry

Currently pCP reports the model and modelname as squeezelite for all
outputs. With the non-bluetooth squeezelite you can add extra options,
so could set modelname here (via the -M commandline switch). For
bluetooth connected speakers, there is no possibility to change this.
Can pCP be updated to
Very nicely done -- just went from 5 to 6 without a hitch on a RPI3 w/
32G SD... I like the new interface -
Thank you for your wonderful support and player

Hmmm, with computer running LMS ethernet connected and files directly
connected to laptop (i.e., not a NAS), then you really shouldn't be
having any issues.
I have been using a Samsung EVO 32G for years -- no issues

Hi all,
Just set up a brand-new 4Gig rPi4 (my first) with pcp 6 over the weekend
and so far I'm loving it. But ...
I'm choking on 24/96 files; it will play for a few seconds and then go

Just as FYI ... Raspberry Pi 4 can boot from USB (beta but close to
release). Older RPi have been able to do it for a long time.
Some can also boot from network - which could make an attractive option
for pCP players.

Rescan, not very frequent (can be months between scans), my collection
is pretty stable.

Hi all,
I'm running pcp for some self-build speakers which sound better with a
custom parametric equalization,

For this I'm using ladspa_dsp, https://github.com/bmc0/dsp for which I
managed to build a tcz package and hack asound.conf

Hi all,
I am running PiCore 6.0.0 on a Raspberry Pi 2B+ for my LMS server. This
runs 7 zones perfectly and is very reliable.
Yesterday I added a plugin for HomeSeer HS3, upon restarting LMS, it
failed to come back up. It fails with this message in the server log.

Any recommendations on what memory card to use for lms on a pi?
At work we use pi for displaying information with rise vision. Here we
use cheap industrial SD cards. But these seems to fail within a year. We
also use pi for temperature surveillance of freezers and refrigerators.
Here we use exp
