the Bel Canto C5i.
I ended up taking the HiFiBerry Digi+Pro hat off of its RPi 3B and moved

Not sure I understand your question. No, I do not have music playing
constantly. I'll have a listening session and then empty the playlist in
LMS and move on to whatever is ne

No harm in asking on that thread. You never know, he may have found a
solution later.

I purchased this Mersus amp hoping that it would work with the new PcP,
and it did :).

No, the DAC (part of a Bel Canto C5i integrated amp) stays on all the
time.

Is the USB DAC always powered up? If you power cycle the DAC, you will
need to power cycle pCP. Or get fancy with other scripting.

Hi, yes, the -40db bit about thresholds?

The PCP player is on a RPi 3B+. Not sure I want to go to the effort to
switch out to a RPi 4. I'd note there is no sound quality difference
between the HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro output and the PCP USB output (when the
latter is running.) So, it is just a matter of how much I want the

Yes, it is a wifi setup for this player.
The LMS PC is hardwired to a gigabit network. The RPi/PCP player has a
wireless connection, but is only about 3 feet from the router. I have no
other devices in the house that have wireless connectivity problems. (I
have a Roku player and a SB Radio at t
Thanks to the PcP team for adding the Merus support!
I tried it today I'm having a bit of trouble getting it working, could
anyone offer any advice?
As far as I can see config should be minimal, select "Merus Audio Amp"
from the devices drop down, then choose one of :

Are you running wifi? Can you describe your network setup?

The module will be in the 5.4 kernel base. 5.4 has a few big changes,
not sure when it will be ready.

Ok. I deleted Trackstat DB.
Rebooted, and LMS was immediately responsive and available!
I then started a scan.
Code:
[20-06-14 12:41:25.3016] Slim::Music::Import::runImporter (511) Starting
Slim::Media::MediaFolderScan scan
.

Just discovered this setting:

This was set to High, and I changed it to Max.
I then rebooted.
Now it "only" takes 2h18m for the system to become responsive
I'm guessing that it's Trackstat that has become a problem.
I will now clear the Trackstat DB and then try a reboot without any
