Hi guys,
I can't really work out why pCP6.1.0 will work on our test RPi3B's but
not on some others.
There are 5 revisions of the RPi3B, I am wondering if one revisions has
a problem.

Burned an image of pcp v6.0.0. Filled in the wpa_supplicant.conf.sample
file, renamed it.
Both rpi booted successfully, I had a monitor connected.

Completed the wi-fi page, saved and did not get a wireless IP address.

Well I swapped the working card into the other "difficult" rpi (Revison:

without any luck, one green flash and no boot.
I returned the card to the previous pi and it worked correctly via

I have just upgraded to the latest version of PCP (piCorePlayer v6.1.0 |
www v0009).
The aim is to get it running as a player with my Logitech Bluetooth

It doesnt work that way anymore, it creates its own instance of
squeezelite. Look in lms for a player with the name of your "T-Boom"
device name

The tough thing is that nobody tells you which chipset is in the device
when you buy it. I use this one edimax ew-7811utc
There are others, but I could not tell you the brand and model number, I

squeezelite cannot find the LMS server. where is your LMS server
running, and what is the network configurations.

LMS is running on a
Volume control doesnt work from every device. A limitation of
bluealsa. AFAIK, it only works from an iPhone. You will have to
manually adjust it.

You can read the card directly in the pi, and save it to a network
location. But it can be risky on a mounted file system. But with pCP,
it should work.To be honest, I never backup. I start from scratch so
many times, its quite easy.

so after solving my Bluetooth issue (discussed in the Bluetooth thread)
there is still some issue with the Wifi.
Although I can see the wireless pi in my router and with network
scanners I cannot connect to it via the web interface or vis ssh.

Just to say. I happen to be one of the "happy few". Am using an original
raspberry pi with the Wolfson DAC card and all works perfectly. Thanks
for your effort. I came to PCP late so only just clicked all your
efforts to make it work!
