Hi again
I'm back in Linux Mint (19) after a sojourn in Windows and noticed that
I'm still having the same problem: The "music notes" button on the top
right does nothing and I can't get to the "Now Playing" display. I
closed Squeezeplay and opened it again, but it kept playing in the
background

As I said, I've tried twice and can't install it. Isn't there a Windows
installer somewhere, that doesn't insist you have a Microsof account on
a specific device? In any case I'd prefer to install squeezelite on my

I installed Local Player via the LMS Web interface on my PC, which is
what I use to control LMS. But LMS itself is in fact installed on a
Wandboard Quad (and works fine). But

Yeah, I did and also uninstalled and installed the non-pulse version.
It's an improvement, but it's not working as it should: When I click and
hold the right-hand button, I can get the Playlist, but I can't get to

Thanks! On my (French) keyboard I get "saving preset #9" when I hit the
"5/(/[" key. I can't switch keyboard mappings easily or I'd try with

The only problems I see is that the button at the upper right, which
normally switches between Playlist and Now Playing, seems to work only
intermittently, and that there's no choice of Now Playing displays (on
the hardware Touch, touching the screen once cycles through the
displays).

I found a solution: In */opt/logitechmediaserver/prefs/server.prefs* I
changed *protectSettings:* from 1 to 0 and I was able to log in and set
up. The scan is now running and it looks as if it will be very fast.

(v7.9.2, ARCH-AUR-REL.7.9.2.arch2) and rebooted.

months on a Wandboard running SoA and a ReadyNAS NV+ as server, then

Hello to all. After about two months, the SD card SoA was on died and I
had to reinstall it. And I'm having problems mounting my ReadyNAS music
share again.
When I try to mount it via the Web interface, I get the following error
message:

Just to tie this up, I substituted ".*jpg" for "*.jpg" and I can still
scan with no problem. And LMS is starting to pick up images in the
folders that aren't named "cover" or "folder". Performance is great,
especially browsing and searching. I do sometimes experience a lag when
playing a file.

I finally got LMS working on a Wandboard Quad, but now for some reason
it won't complete a scan. It completes the directory scan and crashes
when it starts the scan of the first file. This is what the end of the

Still the scan crashes.
Logically, the share being both CIF and NFS on the NAS is the problem.
That's the only thing that's different. But come to think of it, I was
having scan failures even before I changed anything.

rpcbind.

Yes!! It works! That was it. Once I started *rpcbind *I was able to

Just go the IP address of your Wandboard and you should see the SoA Home
page. Go to the Update tab and look for a check box. Check it and hit

Flashed a new SD card and tried the Install again. This time after
