For some reason the squeezecenter insists on using mysql socket in /tmp, so you need to edit the "/etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld" file and add a line: /tmp/mysql.sock w, You also have to edit your mysql config files (both my.cnf and debian.cnf) to reflect this socket change. Also you have to gi

Ive just installed SC on my hardy server, and have managed to get it started by typing sudo /etc/init.d/squeezecenter start in terminal. Aparantly you can run SC in a browser using port 9000...but it wont load for me.. I havent dont anything else yet (apart from try and connect my device). Is the
