If "chain" is first, it will copy actionErrors to the chained action, then the
validation on the list() method will fail.
That gives you the right error message, but also bypasses running list()...
Anyway, this appears
be having a [delete] link on each row of the list.
You click [delete], it fails because the page was stale, so delegate to the

I have an action with two dispatch methods.
I have a single JSP that renders a list and also have an import file field.
On import failure, I want to populate the list with an error message.
THE PROBLEM:
It looks like validation for the list() method is wiping the errors from the
import() method

Hallo,
i want to redirect my errors "together" with page redirect...: if user is
logged he should see message "person created" on StartPage.jsp and if not
on Login.jsp. It works if I do directly forward, but if i redirect Login.jsp
to StartPage.jsp error massege is gone. Could you
addActionError(...)?

and do a DB query. If I get an empty result I want to be directed back to
the original input jsp and display an error message.
What is considered the best method for doing this?
I could add the message to the session
Hi all,
I added more error message here : "converter is null for property
CreateIfNull_persons. Mapping size: 0", hope that somebody can hep me out,
thanks.

I´m using css_xhtml theme in my application. Each CRUD screen has a error
area(in the bottom). When a error occurs I need to disable the error message
showed for each field(near the field) that is provided by the css_xhtml
theme. I don´t like to create my own theme.
Thanks

When there is an integer type and the user writes non string value, an error
message is displayed automaticly. "Invalid field value for field "xxx.yyy"
I want to make this message localized. I posted a message before. But I
don't want to write bundles for all the integer, do
1 - 100 of 240 matches
