One thing that is important with glass and ice scenes is to have
something in the background to show through (blurred/ distorted). It
helps the reading of the ice. The easier thing to do is blur the ice
area in post processing.

dear realsoft friends, two days ago I have tried to import a *.obj file for realsoft. after that I have this crazy dark startup view window, all objects are black (although there are many objects, lightsource and so on...) until I click them in the select window, the objects will activated and show
