We have 10 sonicwall IPsec VPNs running at the same time in our setup. So far
it works fine.

Dear all,
I am using CloudStack 4.1.1 with KVM hypervisors. I would like to change
the public IP address range used by the system VMs (i.e. SSVM and CPVM).
I went to CloudStack GUI > Infrastructure > Zones > Select my zone >
Physical Network > cloudbr0 (the cloud interface used for public IP) >

CS will not detect your running vms on your hypervisor, and it will not
detect any changes you make on your hypervisor, therefore any future
management (create, delete, snapshots ..etc ) should be done via CS.
This is how CS works by design :)

Hi folks,
I am deploying a cloud environment using Xen 4.1 and I have this situation:
I have a server that has already installed the Xen 4.1 hypervisor with XCP
API and 4 Virtual machines created. One of this VMs is the VM I installed
the Cloudstack. So, everything is running smooth there and now
CS 4.1.1 and it's in the vconfig package.
I'll open a bug when I can get to a computer.
Thanks Marty.

Hi Dean,
I will be able to check for you in a few hours. How many VMs do you
currently have running?
Are there any networking statistics on the cloudstack UI or are they blank?

Hi Travis,
What version of cloudstack are you using? It is probably worth logging a
bug, that way if someone runs across it again they can find out about it.
What package is the vconfig command from or is it a package in its own
right?

I'm running out of options here, I guess I will deploy CS again on another
machine, and see if I can re-create the issue.
could you check if you have cloudstack-usage
Can you see if there are any errors in your management logs?
I remember seeing usage errors in our logs (running on 4.1.1) but haven't
yet got round to looking at it.

Alex - these are all great suggestions, especially about the training, I
had the chance to attend it at the collaboration conference earlier this
year, and Geoff knows his stuff. But you're going to learn the most by
installing/breaking/fixing it over and over and setting it up how it works
for you
Thanks for that, I wasn't aware that there was training available. Food for
thought.

I just setup a new CentOS 6.4 instance with KVM and Advanced Networking. I was
able to spin up the CPVM and SSVM without any problems but when trying to spin
up the first instance things kept failing miserably.
After a bit of trial and error all signs finally pointed at the VRVM failing to
spin
Thanks for the link, looks to be exactly what I'm after. Lot's to read up

Hello everyone
there seems to be a bug with 4.1.1 in regards to usage server, I can start
the service, but I don't see any logs, running "service cloudstack-usage

I am in the same position and I suspect that others are as well.
Who would be interested in participating in a virtual meeting to walk
through the installation together to find out where the instructions are

It seems to be a known problem that if you follow the instructions

Hello Travis,
If you are using virt-manager GUI then you can select the host, in case of
localhost select localhost (qemu connection) go to edit->connection details
there you have storage and you should be able to delete add or whatever.
If no GUI then use 'virsh' with storage pool commands.

Hi,
the issue is resolved!
The root cause was that one of the XEN Servers has run out of disk sapce and CS
was not able to connect to it.
