Hi Rene,
Is your zone type basic or advanced with security group in that case you want
to change xenserver/xcp-ng network back end to bridge . I am suspecting this
since the message has bridge in it otherwise it should use openvswitch.
Regarding SR , cloudstack can use any type of storage
that it says failed to configure brige(typo) firewall, but what can I
do to fix that? Or what did I miss?
And another question I have regarding a Xenserver setup, can cloudstack
utilize any kind of SR storage or only fibre channel?

It worked. Now after clearing the below params from XenServer host and
restarting the management services, it has copied all directory and plugins to
XenServer hosts and now all XenServer hosts are showing in “UP” State. Thanks

I suggest you download the VHD from CloudStack and use external tools like
qemu-img to convert from VHD to QCOW2. You will need to uninstall the XenServer
tools and install the KVM one.

This is a XenServer-specific technique - it relies on removing a Tag from
XenServer, not to be confused with the host tags in ACS. KVM hosts in ACS
do not use the same setup procedure as XenServer Hosts.

we are in the same situation with using XenServer 6.5. Besides it will not be
patched XS6.5 has poor memory performance. We are in the middle of evaluating
KVM with ScaleIO to get rid of XenServer in the near future. I am stuck right
now on how to mount a ScaleIO volume do a KVM

Thanks for the reply Nux, yea we originally chose XenServer over KVM because
KVM didn't support all of the VM snapshot functionality of XenServer.
We are evaluating switching to KVM now... But don't have a good way of moving
customers over from XenServer host to KVM hosts...
