Hi :) If you have your /home on a separate partition then it might be possible to install the 64bit version of Ubuntu without disturbing your 32 it version.  I tend to use a 10-15Gb partition for / for Ubuntu.  It doesn't really need all that much space but Ubuntu is about the most bloated distr

I would save the .doc file as .odt first and then edit that .odt file. If I needed to save it back to a .doc file then I would save it as the following: document.doc ---save as document.odt ---edit and save as document-edited-v1.odt ---and then save as document-edited-v1.doc That way I save
