Kannel and Chinese Characters

Hi, I need a SMS Gateway that is able to handle chinese SMS. Does anyone know, if kannel supports any of the chinese character sets and if yes, which one ? Does anyone has experience with kannel and chinese SMS ? Greetings Sebastian Höher

FYI It seems that it is a bug of version 1.2.1. I've tried with 1.2.1 for linux and the problem persist. But with 1.3.1 in Linux all is well. The %00 received in the bearerbox is sent by the sms box has %00 too and not %40
