There's a seperate clickatell driver built-in in Kannel already.
You will get it when you set system-type = clickatell.
Not sure if that will solve your problem. But it's worth a try.

In general I do not get why you need Kannel when you use Clickatell. That might
be because i do not know your application but it feels as Kannel might not be
the right choice for you application.

No, but kannel is fully SMPP 3.4 compatible, SMPP is the most worked
protocol, and have not been any tickets about it lately.

You need to specify the clickatell system-id, so add the following
line :-

(where is your system id). I wonder if you mixed that up with
smsc-id as you blanked that out?
If you want DLRs you will need to specify the port = xxx option as

yep, Clickatell uses some "fancy" SMPP v3.4 optonal fields for various things,
but Kannel should be able to deal with them if interface version 3

For the record, we are now using the Clickatell HTTP driver on
production and it works like a charm. We are not stressing it a lot
yet, but we will in the future and so far we have no issues with it.

I think the best way to answer this question is to redirect you to the
source code.
The Clickatell API code is located in smsc/smsc_http.c.
There is also other HTTP based SMSC's in there. You can look at them for an

You must call Clickatell support.
Error 92 usually means that Clickatell's server is denying connection from
your IP. If you try telnetting smpp.clicatell.com on port 2345 (or whatever
port(s) thet´ve assigned to your smpp connection) and you´ll get the same
