Tools->Options->Spreadsheet->General which has a Metrics field (which I
have set to inches). You can set it to points or picas and if you know
what the font size you're using is in points, you could use that
multiplied by the width you want in

Shooting in the dark, but:
Have you tried inserting a paragraph on an empty page and _then_
inserting the table? I think I've seen this same problem with graphics.
Also, I know how you anchor a graphic (to char, paragraph, or page)
makes a big difference, but I'm not sure if any of this applies

Normally attachments don't come through the list but your one did
Auto correct will work only when the language that you are using is
the same as the language that you have installed as a dictionary.

Thanks for the answer. Outlook is setup as the default mail program, but that
doesn't help. I'm using XP Pro and also 2003 server (terminal server) which
doesn't make a difference.

You can't download excel, as that is not a free product. You can download
openoffice, which is free and better than M$'s Office, and it includes the
"calc" module, which is the equivalent of excel, just check the
