I could not open these on my computer (Office2000).

I managed to install something named "X11SDK.pkg", but still cannot install OO
on the iMac Intel. When installed, it's named X11 SDK. Yesterday morning I
asked one of the Apple Tech Support people, with the response "we don't support
third party applications" and she had never heard of "X-11."
I found this off the OO site:

In some cases when opening a .ppt with OOo and selecting a textbox the
bottom part of it (10 to 15%) disappears. As a consequence it is not
possible to read the last line (or lines depending on the font size)
unless the text box is de-selected.
I have experienced this with OOo 2.0.2
I assume this macro would automatically record the OOo version, the system's
OS, and stuff like that, right? (I didn't see that in the orginial
suggestion - just wondering if that was the thinking.)

At least OOo has a good Font Selection option (Windows version)
When you deal with the hundreds of fonts I have installed,
it is good to see what the font looks like.
I had to install 10 Helvetica and 9 Times fonts alone
(out of 100 or so individual Times/Helvetica files).

Your problem is that the cells are formatted to display the
date as 10-02-06. Select the cells, then select 'format /
cells'. Choose the 'number' tab, then 'date' and pick the
format string that matches your requirements. If it's not
there, you can create your own custom format str

Bad news -- no you can't easily move fonts from a PC to mac
Good news -- The two you mention should already be on your mac --
More bad news -- X11 is (kind of) like having a second OS on your
machine -- so you need to install the fonts --
