I note that OpenOffice is producing an Aqua-look for the Mac version. Suggestion: produce an Aqua-look for the PC version. Why do Windows word processors have to look so awful. The old versions had cartoon color schemes, and the new Office 2007 continues this unimaginative, awful color scheme.

HOw do I import data from another file into OpenOffice Base so that I can then edit that data? I have tried importing from OpenOffice Calc and from a .csv file, but both times, Base opened the file in read only mode, preventing me form editing the data! How do I get around that?

I got the X11 off the same disks as the upgrade as Tiger and I was careful to get the power PC not Intel version of Open Office. I am not at my Mac now so I can't look at version numbers till later. For what it's worth I had the same problem with older versions of Open Office 1.x and earlier
