That is because you are using FreeBSD which requires manual

Short answer - probably fairly easy. If you open both databases to their
main screens and click on the Tables icon, so that you see the tables in
both,
COUNTIF also works fine in OpenOffice.org; it's probably one of the most
commonly used cell formulas, so if it didn't work, many people would be very
loud about it and the bug would be corrected rather quickly.
I guess it's very hard to tell what's wrong in your case without having a
look at the f

Never Mind. I just tried dragging a table from the old database to the
new one, and it worked. I thought that I had already tried that without
success.

Question:
I have a Excel file that I tried to open in OOoCalc/Math (spreadsheet).
It has two conditional formulas in it.
First time I tried to open it in Ooo, it crashed: hmmm...it also crashed the
2nd time.
I commented those two formulas out, and tried to open it.
After forever, it opened it up.
Is there an easy way to move a table of data from one database to another?

Gene K.

Here's an off-beat question. Does anyone know where OOo stores its
settings for the column widths in the OpenOffice Save/Open dialogs?
My column widths were somehow whacked, and OOo now only shows me the
filenames -- not the file types, dates, etc. I can drag them back into
view, but if I
OpenOffice Help is a little ambiguous about this, it
says: to search for \n and replace with \n. Yes, you
can include a word before the carriage return in your
search and/or replace.
The section you need to read in OpenOffice Help is
called "Regular Expressions."

How can I do a Search and Replace for hard line return? Can I include a word
along with a hard line return in the same search?
Thanks

You stated that you are using this over a LAN.

I don't know a lot about this but...
You say that printing doesn't work from OOo or Gimp. Does that mean
it does work from other applications?
As an interim solution, you could export your files as PDF and print
them from your favourite PDF viewer.
Sorry I can't be more useful than that.

I find it impossible to print with cups from openoffice.org-2.2.1 or

I am using FreeBSD 6.2, cups-base 1.2.12, Xerox Phaser 8200DP on LAN.
lpstat -p -d shows the printer as the default printer.
I can print a test page from the web interface at port 631 but I CAN NOT

I'm currently using OO 2.0.3, as installed with Linux Mandriva 2007.0.
Is there a Mandriva 'urpmi' command that will upgrade from 2.0.3, e.g. to 2.2.1?
