This is because your old library was giving you only the first 6 characters
of the barcode. All new libraries gives you all 8 barcode characters . To
change this, go to your library GUI and logon as administrator.
Go to configuration -> system and change the value of "Barcode Label Length

Dedupe works really good. But be careful, it is not the solution for all

Another solution to this, If you cannot restart your master server is to run
the command nbemmcmd -deletalldevices -mediaserver .. . Then you can run

Hi
I know that you will not believe it, but your problem is the spaces around
"to". Check again the /root/20091216_rename_file and remove all extra
spaces.

I think that you have to be at 6.5.4 to do that.
Else, for all these steps, you can use lifecycle

Hi,
There is a technote for this. I know that the indexing has the same speed as
the mailbox backup. And it seems to be normal.

Hi,
I've install two 6.6 puredisk servers and I have to say that the GUi is one
of the biggest flows puredisk has.
I agree that you need power at the client site to do the calculations.
Why don't you use the snapshot capabilities of netbackup to backup the
client?
I think that it is a good idea
Is the media server active? Probably not.
Who is the server you used to do the duplications? Probably you had used the
old media server.
Run the command "bpimagelist - backupid yos_sam1_1195057147 -d 01/01/2000 -e

Find and download awk for windows (gawk)
The following command will give you the backup id of all successful backups
for the last 24 hours (or use the -hoursago hours)

After you have the list of backup ids you can run the
Thanks for the answer.
Most of the thinks you mentioned can be done without I/O blades.
I can restart the drives within the i2K GUI. Robot control has its own host
masking so partitioning is not a problem.
I understand that I/O blades are more "powerful" but I'm not sour if I
really want them. I h
