Hey folks.
I've spent countless hours searching for answers, but not getting
anywhere. I just received my Xacti C40 (Same as the C4, basic same
specs as the C5 with different body design) and have some questions.
I want to add a wide angle lens, but the Xacti C40 doesn't have a
threaded lens.
Two discussions I found noteworthy. Randolfe started discussing the
New York Video 2.0 meetings:

They also have them in San Francisco which I've been going to and
found very worthwhile.

Hey Guys,
I'm working with Move On about the recent blocking of Revver and other
small sites and I need to find some examples on Myspace currently of
people using it commercially.
Specifically, I'd love to find people using images that are linked
back to where you can buy their CD, or get a
I wrote a post on my blog this morning wondering exactly what is the
definition of New Media. In my post, I wrote my disappointment over
awards ceremonies that charge you to be nominated and over mainstream
Canadian media companies being nominated and winning the Canadian New
Media Award (CNMA).
Hi everyone:
I can see how divided people are on this. So what I've decided to do
is simply create the group anyway and those who want to join can do so
and those who do not wish to join for whatever reason don't have to.
This way, no one feels left out or feels as though a proverbial gun is

Why look for permalinks? Why not RSS feed URLs instead?

Chill out. What they are doing is cool - re-vlogging. The whole point
of cc licenses is to give people permission to do stuff like this.
They want permalinks so they can cite great videos. It's not a master
feed of feeds. It's a curated vlog of inspiring videos.

I had seen the video Jay Dedman recommended on Web 2.0 before

people here commented on it seamlessly when, as I recall,
there was no video in it! On the Internet a movie has become

Well, as you may or may not know the largest sci-fi/popular culture
convention in the U.S. has, since last year, a podcasting track. They
are currently looking for ideas for guests to invite for the track

By watching your video, Randy, I learned you never issued a complaint
to YouTube about that video being stolen. I think you should send
them a notice and get AskTony to take it down . I know you made the
original video as an expression of your freedom to be gay and freedom
to be openly
I absolutely understand your point. Obviously, AskTony has behaved
in a disgraceful manner.
The fact that you and virtually everyone will probably feel the same
way about AskTony is a very exquisite form of justice. He's been
