Hello! Yes, I have the XactiHD1000 and yes, Quicktime does not support the largest shooting format of the camera. A frustrating oversight by Xacti. But, luckily, there is a back door fix you can do by using the CD the camera came with. Here's a link to a thread that gives step by step instructions.
