Unable to get with Raymond last night, I did solve the problem this
morning, by converting the .wmv files to .avi. I did that using STOIK,
which is freeware video conversion software.
Whew! The .avi files look fine! A tiny bit blurry, but not jumpy/crazy
like the other ones! I even converted the

That didn't seem to help in previewing in the Storyboard.
The files play just fine in Windows Media Player when I view them separately from the Windows Movie Maker.

Besides which, I'm not sure that would solve the problem with Windows Movie Maker, which is what's showing the preview at such a bitmappy display.
