Is there anyone who can help me? I downloaded System 7 from Apple but it won't mount. It keeps saying I need System 7 to mount or application can not be found. I've been working on this for 3 hours now and it's driving me batty. ARGH! If someone could just give me the floppies to install it I

I just got a Pioneer DRM-604X, which is an external 4x, 6 disc, SCSI CD-ROM changer. :) Unfortunately whomever is in charge of driver software at Pioneer uploaded the Mac driver as a .sea file instead of a plain stuffit archive or .hqx or .bin encoding it. :( I've tried to download it from here

The saga continues. I was up all night trying to install System 7. Funny thing is when ever I would try I would always get the same reply. Ole' buddy LC kept telling me I need System 7.1 to install System 7 and when I tried to install 7.1 it tells me the same thing. Weird. Anyone have any clues?

Yep. I was using that earlier. If I try to mount anything I get the same error message. Unable to execute System 7.0.1 or later required. (1) I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make a boot floppy so I can try that. It needs to fit on a floppy. I was thinking of maybe booting off

I connected it to my 7300 this morning and apparently the Pioneer control panel can't see anything on the secondary SCSI bus. Bummer. Next step will be to try it on the Power IIci and see if it works with the single SCSI bus on it. Can any of the 3rd party disk drivers handle CD changers?
