can't sneakernet, as the floppy drive is chewing up disks (quite literally)... I have a IIfx, just popped the hood, it has three jumper points, two near the ROM SIMM itself, labelled J103 (which is connected) and J106 (which isn't), and one near the 68030, labelled J20 (not connected either). Are

Are you sure you have the SCSI Disk Mode cable or is it the regular SCSI cable? If the CD-ROM isn't Apple branded (with the Apple code in it's ROM) it won't mount with the Apple CD-ROM drivers unless you hack it with ResEdit. = http://www.junkscience.com "All the Junk that's fit to Debunk!"
