Hi Alan,
I don't think people should be that terribly afraid of resetting all settings,
but of course you have to assume that this does exactly what it says, it will
reset "all settings" to factory default.
If you actually take a moment to read what it says before youc onfirm, you

James,
I'm glad resetting all your settings corrected most of your iOS 14 issues. I'll
caution others from doing that because when Apple Accessibility had me reset my
settings in connection with an issue I was reporting, not only did doing so not

personally, I like timeChime. as one can turn it on and off as required
easily, and rather than just every hour, you can select every 15, 30, or
60mins for the alerts. also you can select different sounds for the 15/45,
30, and hourly alerts, meaning that if you can't always take the phone out
You have to have voice clock open and running in the background, while Chime
just has to have notifications turned on.

Hello Everyone,
Okay, it's official, I am now a "cord cutter".
I started my 5-day free trial of YouTube TV, today.
So far, so good.
The iPad OS 14 app works better than I would have expected. One thing I
like is the ability to pause the live stream while navigating television
listings.

Earlier today I posted a big list of stuff that was going wrong with voiceover.
This is on iOS 14 and an iPhone 11 promax. Tonight I reset all settings but did
not erase all data. The problems went away. I don’t know what it was… What
setting I had screwed up. Hopefully it does not come back.

That will speak or chime the time on the hour?
That is not A battery hog and is very voice over friendly?
If so can you please share what it is.

On the 11 Pro to close App:
Put finger on bottom of screen.
Flick up until you hear a pop and up until you hear one more pop.
Lift your finger.
Then VO will announce the program(s) open; flick up from the bottom with three
fingers to close each open app.

I have heard from others on this list that peacock does not work well
with accessibility. Have you considered Disney Plus? It is fully
accessible, has movies, TV shows, and original programming. They even
have audio description on a lot of their movies and shows. You can get
it for about $7
The problem seems to be when trying to set the double backtap in the
accessibility / touch settings for the Google Assistant iOS shortcut, and
also wishing to set the triple backtap in VoiceOver / Touch Commands to
execute a VoiceOver specific gesture or command.

There is one built-in if you select it in the Calendar settings.
Open the app, select calendars, and make sure U.S. Holidays is selected.
There may be several copies from different sources listed.
iCloud, Outlook, etc.
If more than one is selected, you will have holidays listed multiple times.
