That depends on what you call "affordable." Good ones aren't cheap, and
alternatively, cheap ones aren't good--they lack features one wants in a
sound bar, like wireless operation and not Bluetooth wireless.
OK, the caveats out of the way, I love my Sonos Beam, about $400. It's

Thank you, Sieghard, I'll keep that in mind. The performance on APPLE TV was
exceptional. A colleague in ministry strongly encouraged us to watch it because
she'd just seen it over the weekend. A great musical, and a great bunch of
folks helping folks in a very desperate crisis.

And if you ever have a chance to see it performed live then it's even better.
My wife and I saw it in Toronto about 3 years ago and it was fantastic.

I also went into Settings -> Contacts, and my default contacts are Gmail and
not iCloud.
Another thing you can do which might be informational is go into the Contacts
app and double tap on the groups button at the top of the screen. Now you can

Thanks Richard and Christopher for those responses. This is all good
information to know, and I'll share it with my kids. The APPLE TV musical about
9/11 was good to watch now. I highly recommend it to those with a subscription.

Yes, I assume that if the content is behind the pay wall then you'd have to log
in with your Apple ID and have subscribed to Apple TV Plus. This is the case
with my wife and I and content like Ted Lasso or Mythic Quest. Not sure if
Apple has any free content on Apple TV Plus or not.
BTW, when I
Christopher,
That is good information. But, I presume you still have to have the Apple TV
Plus subscription, right?

Hi Dwayne,
You can only watch Apple TV on devices that support it, like Smart TV's, the
Apple TV box, and of course, iPhones, etc by Apple.
I believe you have to have an Apple iD to subscribe, but you can sign up for
one of those for free.
We have Apple iPhones and an iPad, but we also have a Sa
No, you don't need an Apple product. You can go to tv.apple.com in your browser
and watch things from there. For example, when my wife and I want to watch Ted
Lasso together, we'll bring it up in Edge on our PC and cast it to the
Chromecast hooked up to our home theater system.

Hello iPhone Listers,
This past weekend, as the nation remembered the horrible events of 9/11, a
friend remommended that I watch a musical on APPLE TV+ called "Come from Away".
It's the story of people who found themselves in a small village in Canada when
the airlines were grounded. I have jus
I have gone into settings and found contacts enter on that and the first
thing you hear is allow contacts to acces, siri and search, accounts 2,
sort order last first display order first last, short name my info,

What is the difference between default account and Icloud?
Somehow my phone picked up a bunch of contacts that I don't care about, I
suspect it ported over from either the default or the Icloud account. I'd like

I personally like Goodreads. I have made different shelves for various apps.
The default shelf which I do not duplicate is NLS because most of my books are

I’m glad I haven’t missed anything obvious. I signed up to Good Reads only

I tried Good Maps, or Explorer as it now appears to be called. The
search capability seems outdated. I still have Nearby Explorer on my

between the two apps. I would pick BlindSquare over Explorer.

I am not the same person you were writing to, but the last thing in contacts

Hello Janet,
In case you are an Android user the contacts by default get saved to the
google account set up on your device and in case you are using an iphone
then the same will be uploaded to your icloud account.
So changing the phone provider will not remove the contacts backed up over
these.
