Thanks much for your response, Anna. For some inexplicable reason, it isn't
closing the app on my 3 GS. I just checked and found that this thing is
running IOS version 6.1.6 which is the latest version of IOS I can run on it.

Thanks
Hi Peggy,
You do it from within the app. You can also go to the App Switcher, flick left
or right until you find the app you want, and double-tap.

Anna

Hi Anna, do you do the four fake flick finger left and right from the app
switcher or do you do it from your main screen or the app that you were ready
have opened?

Hi Peggy,
If you have an app open, you can flick left or right with four fingers to move
between open apps.

Hi, I have a question don't know if this is in the same subject but is there a
way if you have several apps open to flick from one app to the next app not by
going to another page but by flicking somehow I thought I had seen something, I

Hi Don,
The process hasn't changed except that the order of apps is reversed. Flick to
the app you want to close, and flick up with three fingers.

I have an old 3 GS which I use as an internet radio. I can't recall
what to do after I get into the app switcher to close out some running
applications. I should have checked before writing this, but I think it
is running IOS 8 something. At any rate, if any remembers how to close
an app in

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question, but I do exactly what you

I should imagine it's a one finger swipe up to close the app. I believe
with VoiceOver off one can close all apps at once with a three finger

Hi Donald. I just tested this myself. It seems that in order to close an app
with Voiceover turned off, simply hold one finger on that app and drag it
upwards to close it.

one is not using Voice Over, what is the appropriate gesture to close an
