Travel time does a few things. If an appointment is flagged as busy, it marks the travel time as busy also, so one does not schedule another appointment during that time (or at least gives a warning of potential conflict). If the appointment is shared, the travel time portion is not shared.

My advice is to buy FantastiCal 2 for the iPhone. It pulls the information in your native Calendar app, but is much easier to use. If you are interested in more details about it, let me know and I will give you some more detailed examples. You may want to first read the app description in the

Interesting. I was curious about this after your note. I went in and added travel time to an appointment. Nothing changed in the main listing for that appointment. The travel time only showed if I opened the appointment and double tapped on edit. I could have more easily just entered the travel
