I cannot remember the password I set when I set up to have encrypted backups
made to my computer. I’ve tried the ideas I can think of for what my password
might have been and none worked. Fortunately, I do not need to restore
anything to my phone. However, I want to fix the problem
, the
instructions might differ.

In order to remove the encription on a backup, you will need the
password. This kind of thing is why, in general, using encription
causes more problems than it solves, it's usually
