A simple way, possibly not.
A way, yes.
If you double tap on the photo or possibly a one finger triple tap to bring up

The only limitation, which the developer is working on, is that columns do not
scan well.

Hello,
For OCR, I use Abby fine reader. I asked the question about printers and
scanners a while ago. People told me that the HP scanners and printers worked
well. I chose an all-in-one, model 8710. I know the model number starts with
87. I am guessing at the last two numbers. My scanner is at
While I've had nothing but good success with Prizmo Go, if you want to be able
to copy the text, or send it, you need the $4.99 Export package.
Office Lens, as others have said, is free, and allows you to export the text.
It just has a few more steps to get to that point, but works great too.
While I have found that KNFB Reader is the best, I have tried Office Lens which
is free and very accurate. I also tried Prismo Go but unlike others I find it
not nearly as accurate as the other two. But it is free so I suggest you try it
and Office Lens before paying the price of the KNFB
.

This is the best software I have used. I got a $240 certificate that is active
for a year or two, can't remember, but for a tiny subscription service a month,
it certainly beats having to shop and get software that probably does not do

Though expensive, the KNFB Reader is the most blind friendly and
appears to be the best document scanning app currently out. I think
there's a great future for this app and the developers have already
put out a few updates after the initial release. Check AppleVis for a

Possibly, but remember that the 6 series, and even the 5S, include an
advanced flash. This is meant to light an image more accurately (in terms of
tone and color) than a regular flash, such as that found on the 5 or 4S
My guess is that KNFB Reader on a 6 or a 6 Plus will perform very much the
same and that the optical image stabilization won't make a lot of
difference. I think a lot of people are getting hung up on that one feature
where a number of variables are involved in how good your OCR result will
be.
I think many people are being hung up on this feature where a bigger screen can
be more of a problem for a voiceover user.
