Thanks Richard. Great minds really do think alike. I always clear the APP
switcher before locking my phone, but I don't always remove the wired earbuds
I've been using lately. Perhaps I should do that and maybe that will minimalize
the issue further.

I have the same problem with the Audible app as well as the Amazon Music app.
I had been just closing the app by double clicking my home button and then
doing the 3 finger swipe up. Then I started totally backing out of the book or
music first, then shutting down with the swipe.

Good luck with the music problem.
The one thing to do is to make sure you have cleared the Music app, or any
other audio playing app, from the app switcher before locking your phone.
However, if you have earphones attached, and the play button gets pressed,
sometimes whatever you last

The beauty of Voice Memos is that the two finger double tap will both start and
stop recording.
In settings, Voice Memos, if you have location based naming on, it will use
your location for the initial name

The only feature where I could see why somebody may want to use a third party
app is if you want your voice memos to sync to Dropbox.
