Thanks,

Apple's event is on the 9th. If Apple's past timetable is followed, and
they
have been very consistent in recent years, the Gold master of iOS 8 will be

Yep, am watching that very thing happen with varioultra braille displays. they
announced the end of july, now they are saying mid-september, doesn’t bode well
for the product.

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion with your braille displays. As Kelly
says, products can be delayed for many reasons. How many times have we
had discussions on this list wishing Apple had postponed a release of
IOS a bit to get more accessibility related bugs fixed. There could be
something

Hi.
I have a question about this app, and more specificly how it worked on other
devices in the past. I've heard it compared to other mainstream OCR apps on
the iPhone. I'd like to hear from KNFB users who have used this app on
other devices

Hi.
Of course the one for iOS is not out yet, but I personally found the old KNFB
reader a bit better at OCR than the OCR products for iOS
Hi, What i think was interesting about this presentation is that nobody asked
and so no info was given about the apps ability to read LCD and LED displays on
washing machines, recorders and the like. That's a thing we need as i see it.
Ok we have Goggles and sometimes it works and sometimes,

It hasn't been updated in a few years, and the phones it runs on haven't
been manufactured in years.
