This allows you to toggle on and off voiceOver's speaking of hints. For
example, it was just discussed on this list that some people don't like
hints enabled all of the time, but they do when they're in the in box of
the Mail app, since turning on hints will have VoiceOver read the email
One thing that I find keeps being enabled and disabled is "hints. Now, I know
what * hints are in
the general run of things, but what does it mean when on the rotor?

I now notice that my rotor settings change at will, unless I don't remember how
it used to work. Does the rotor selection stay the same no matter what
application you are in until you change it manually?

Didn't you know, Apple put the rotor in to drive us crazy. At least, they may
as well have had that intent.
It seems to me a hit and miss proposition to get things in a particular order
on the rotor.

settings to their defaults on my 4S to be able to back it up to my computer, so
