Barbara,
Welcome to the list...
Do you happen to have any type of firewalls running? Also, what operating
systems are you currently utilizing? If it is windows xp make sure that its
own internal firewall is turned off.
Cheers

Fracois,
I saw your other thread about this problem as well...
I run VNC 4.1 all day from my desktop to my laptop, over just a home
network, and it works flawless, no issues at all, unless I close it.
You said it's actually closing the VNC Viewer, or is it just losing
connection?
Do you have an
See, this is the reason why I stick with VNC...
You guys solve problems, fix them, and offer ways to correct it before you
even release it to the masses!
Thanks again!

While I am glad to see the main designer/developer here, I do not wear tin

Agreed, this type of a program makes you sit back and wonder, why?
If programs like these are freewheeling around, what is even the point of
having a firewall, also what is there to prevent them giving total access to
outsiders, even without knowing?

Wez,
Thanks for that information as well. I always wondered why programs like
Konfabulator or ObjectDock would not show up in a VNC session, however this
explains it.
I await the release of VNC 4.1.
Thanks

Wez,
Thanks for the quick replies and information. I also noticed in 4.0 free
edition it lags with updates sometimes, where as 3.3.x does not.
I look forward to 4.1 free, and appreciate that your team is still working
on this project.
Thanks

Wez,
Yes, it's VNC Viewer 4.0. It does not remember window location on close for
some reason; it always defaults to the upper left of the screen. I did not
have this issue with VNC Viewer 3.x... Any ideas?
Thanks
