I finally got around to looking into this. While I am not running CDE, I did
use one of the CDE apps (dtpad) to investigate this.
To understand what is going on, you need to know that X (including the Xvnc)
has two copy and paste mechanisms: the cut
0 to PRIMARY"
No copy from Xvnc to Windows --> "copy PRIMARY to 0"
