Is it just me, or is the "Sound Check" feature on iTunes and Ipods
basically useless?
I have this feature turned on when playing music but there is still
significant variations in the sound output for different songs.
Obviously not all songs in a playlist are from the same source (some

As usual I took the memory card out of the camera, put it into the PC
card adapter and pushed it into the the slot on my Ti G4 powerbook.

Had a similar problem with my wife's Fuji finepix S3500 using an XD
card. The problem was that I had simply unplugged the usb cable without
dragging the desktop icon to the eject button on the dock. The camera
claimed that the card was not formatted. I plugged the camera back in
