Hi Folks
Can anyone give me heads up on how I can burn a DVD from a movie on my
Power PC 10.5.8 to a DVD and get it to play on the Mac and also on a
DVD player. Which type of DVD to use, -R or +R and how to format the
DVD to play on both items?
Cheers

Hi Gordon,
Do you mean you cannot enable internet tethering in the iPhone's settings?
Or, when you plug the iPhone into an available USB port on your computer, the
iMac doesn't automatically recognise the tethered iPhone?
Have you tried turning you iPhone off and restarting it and also the
GPS is now working after another reset using power + home buttons held
down till apple logo appears.

Plans have to be weighed up according to your usage. You need to work out how
many calls you expect to make, whether a data plan is important, even who has
the best coverage in your area.
THere are a few sites that that give you comparisons in plans

Do you have Printer Setup Utility? If so, open this, select your

I do have iDVD which I have never used so I will read up on it.
I always burn CDs or DVDs by just copying files to a burn folder and
burning from there.
I understand there is something called multiplexing or authoring which
I think makes the discs playable on a household DVD

John,
you don't say what format the original movie is in. Did you create it in iMovie
or is it a movie off YouTube or something similar?
A home video player will play movies that are in a particular format, this is
the job for iDVD or perhaps Toast if you have that. If you open a commercial
