I've forgotten a Skype password which is stored in Keychain Access as an
'application password'. When I go into Keychain Access, and select 'Show
password', nothing happens, the password is not shown. Is there a way I can
access the password?

Yes, it comes up as 4:3 though you can then go to 16:9. Apple DVD
Player has no such facility to change aspect ratio.

Hi Chris,
I have been using Parallels for some time now over many incarnations of OS X,
so while I cannot guarantee the latest version will run with 10.5.8, I am
fairly confident it will... I just checked the Parallels website and indeed
Leopard 10.5.8 is supported - though no version of Tiger
Hi Carlo
I have been in need of an alternative to using Bootcamp for PC work,
and your suggestion of Parallels sounds like the one. I have a MBPro
with 10.5.8 running, will parallels work on this?

PS: If you wait until January 6 to purchase, you will more than likely be able
to buy it from the new Mac App Store. Then you will not have to worry about
preserving the original media and it will prompt you when free and paid
upgrades are available.

Hi Mac,
I have used Virtual Box, VMWare, and Parallels and in my opinion, the best one
is far and away Parallels. Not only for its superior speed, but also for its
simplicity and perfect integration with the Mac environment. Of the three it is
the only virtual environment that is exclusively M

I have Virtual Box, is this enough or do I need Parallels to make life easy?

Ronnie,
Thanks for your reply and instructions. I don't own QT Pro, but I do
have Toast 10.
I would very much appreciate your tutorial. On the DVD are some
scenes of our kids when they were young in Papua New Guinea.
Thanks heaps,

Hi Kevin,
If you have Quicktime Pro you can use it to convert unprotected DVD clips into
a format iMovie can use.
I have used Toast Titanium 10 numerous times to Extract Video clips from
unprotected DVDs and then edit in iMovie.

it makes a folder from the dvd, then with mpeg streamclip you can the

you can try with mpeg stream clip directly to "open a dvd" then choose
the range you want to convert/export
i cracked a number of dvds in that way
Can you play the disk on your computer? If so you could capture the
clips that you want with Screenium.
