Hi Peter
I’ve seen that once before and just trying to recall how I resolved it - can’t
recall exactly at the moment.
One thing to try (but I might be thinking of another job) - try connecting to
them to a Mojave or earlier computer if you have it,…one not running Catalina.
See if the devices
Hi Daniel
I’ve still to read your recommended link and will do so tomorrow, but from what
I’ve seen of it, it also says it will appear in the Finder window with perhaps
a request to pair or trust the item but because it doesn’t show in the Finder
window it can’t be paired or trusted?
The iPhone
Hi Peter (and Stephen).
Mojave still uses iTunes.
Music didn’t come into it, until Catalina (10.15).
To backup your device in Catalina, you now do it in the Finder.
When you plug in your phone to the computer, open a Finder window (or just
click anything to open a window). The iPhone will be
Hi

Hi again Peter.
The cable that you use to charge your iPhone should be the one.
The Firewire end goes into the iPhone and the USB end goes into the Mac.
What MacOS are you using ?
For Mohave you need to use Music on the Mac.
For older OS’s you need to use iTunes.

Hi Neil
Thanks a lot for this. I hadn’t thought about family subscriptions or getting
them through Officeworks. They offer a good price if there is more than one of
you.
I also forgot that you get the iOS, Android and Windows versions as well.
Thank you.

Hi
I’ve plugged in using a USB connection rather than Lightning, older phone 6SE
and about a 3 yr old MacBookPro.
Doesn’t show up on my brothers new MacBook with his iPhone 6S, or my iPhone SE?
Surely they aren’t too old?

Well that is very strange.
So you have plugged your iPhone into your Mac using the Lightning Cable ?
Then On your Mac you open Music in the Dock.
But your iPhone does not show on the left menu ?

Seeing this post made me think of checking the backup of my iphone, but when
following your instructions my iPhone just doesn’t show up in Photo’s, could
you think of what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks

Great price! I have been using Office 365 for a number of years now and I am
not sure of the value of that at $99 per year. I know at that price it
includes Outlook, but I never use it.
[Does anyone use Outlook because, for instance, it is so much better than Apple
Mail?]
Thanks
Adam
Sorry folks.
I keep remembering things.
The MS Office version I got is Home & Student (so no Outlook).
But I am sure Software Depot sell the Business version too.
