you are after modem scripts which tell the modem to limit connection speed.

this purpose: a script for each connection speed

It also reads some web sites but not others.Eg www.cisco.com, no
problem,
www.yahoo.com.au times out.
Do you have any special cookie settings in place which may be
restricting access to some sites?

whilst connected to the web via modem, the modem status menu icon acts

Got a Question? Try searching the WAMUG list archives first
We find that after using MS Word for a few minutes our computer
starts to dial up remote access, even though no other application is
active.
Anyone know how to turn this off we have Office 2001 MS Word and I
have tried Ctrl Click to change settings for hyperlinks but nothing
changes.
