OK Ronni, I¹ll check the app versions. Since the ipad runs a newer IOS I do tend to download the app updates as Apple indicates. I thought that, in the past, if an app version was not compatible with the iPhone then iTunes DID NOT apply it to the phone (only the iPad). I¹m not sure I use enough

Hi Neil, Yes, the iPhone4 is very limited now, you really need to upgrade to a newer iPhone. It sounds you might have downloaded versions that are not compatible with your iPhone4 The following Knowledge Base article offers up the steps on how to install the latest ‘compatible’ version.

Hi Eugene, Well, it does work on the iPhone 4 pretty well considering the size of the screen as compared to the iPad's screen. The iPhone 4 handles Pages pretty well. Obvious translation issues mean the app doesn’t work perfectly – but for an unofficial version, it looks good. Cheers, Ronni

If you read the discussion document, it indicates that you would be ok as long as you have the GPS or iPhone with GPS software in a hands- free style cradle on the dashboard. They want to stop people holding a phone in the hand or on the knees etc while using hands-free or GPS software etc
