In most the station is small and has no window to the left of the front door
and the sign is on the roof on the edge but in the robbery episode the sign is

I was just day dreaming the other day and I wondered if people think or maybe
feel their actual towns they live in now are very close to mayberry, I know
there is no perfect Mayberry towns because even Mount airy had problems with
drugs being made and sold there awhile back , and Ken from Eau
I saw today reported online that the number one place to retire to is Eau
Claire, Wisconsin.
Ken is a lucky guy.

Even tho Adam-12 ain't quite mayberry related save for several of our
mayberrians appearing on the show.I find this, probably on 1st or 2nd season.
Adam-12 shows up as a shop keeper getting robbed and a knife pulled on his neck
by the robber, Ofcrs Malloy and Reed finally get the guy to surrend
For a couple of reasons, I think we have the wrong month. George
Washington's birthday is not February 21, but rather February 22. But that
isn't the only thing. We know that the boys were wearing summer clothing. I

Alan I just check out your info on restoring Mayberry Squad Cars You said they
carry 5 star badges on their shirts, they do not, they carry 6 star badges
(trained noticer here at work here LOL), I've watched 3 6 hour tapes for the
last 3 days and that is the case, it's all the Barny episodes in

Fun Girls".
I just watched "the land of the giants" season 1 episode 2 filmed in 1968
,where they emergency land in our mayberry, they called it midburry , the
street was paved in front of andys house and even one guy ran up on andys porch
knocking on the door looking for help but found no one home.

I may have found one of our recurring TAGS characters in a 1957 movie
It is "Zero Hour"
Ken Lynch one of our greatest actors as ATC.
The move is about Lt. Ted Stryker and his attempt to land a plane full of
people who have been poisoned at Vancouver Airport.
Same as in "Airplane"

"Astronaut" is on AMC currently started 45 minutes ago.

When Barney, Andy, and Gomer do the solo for "Santa Lucia"
Who is doing the parts between Barney and Gomer.
I couldn't tell who did the tenor.
All 3 parts were excellent, Barney really stepped up and was able to do it,
without missing one single note.

I found the guy who played the Russian delegate in TAGS in an excellent movie,
