the check out stands at local grocery stores. Those include Safeway stores &
Albertsons, which are chain stores,& independent stores as well. I
I heard tell some fella brought his wife in Oregon back some pickles he said he
got in N. Carolina. She said she didn't much care for them & made him throw
them away & said they tasted real awful, almost like kerosene.

A family show called "Apple's Way", the Donnie & Marie show, Mr Rogers
Neighborhood, (with my daughter) & I'm not sure if someone already mentioned
the Sid Caesar show. My favorite was the Waltons.There are so many shows that

I don't think anyone has mentioned a possible obvious reason for Andy changing
during the color years. People change. Sometimes it is because of
circumstances, but mostly I think it comes as one matures & grows up. In the
color episodes, I think we see a more serious Andy. In the Black & white

Oregon has a small town named Shady Grove as well as the one in Mississippi.
Back in the early 60s, my husband & I lived in the small town of
Ashland,Oregon. We became friends with a couple who lived in the even samller
town of Shady Grove & would drive over to visit with them.

out there, I hope you follow suit. What a lot of people don't know is that even
years after a person has quit, they can develope Emphysema, at least a cousin

I read with sadness, Marsha's entry about the passing of Harvey Bullock.
He was still so much a part of our TAGS family. It was always very special when
he would send in entrys to the Digest & I used to look forward to reading the
things he wrote. I'm so glad that he was a part of our little fami

The city I live in does not have a public library, but does have a small one
which was started & is run by volunteers. Though small, it carries quite a good
selection of books. Salem,our capital, has a large Library, but

I think it is a wonderful idea to let Andy Griffith & maybe a few others know
how much we admire & love them while they are still alive. I don't know whether
he is a member of our wbmutbb group, but I know Harvey who was one of the great
writers from the show is & there may be others who were in

& Darren died so recently that there wasn't time for them to be included in the
