We have had several pets with "TAGS" names. My favorite was a black lab named
"Thelma Lou". She had a very good personality, a little shy at first, but she
warmed up to people very quickly. She was quiet for the most part and very
loyal. She was really a good dog. Some of the others we have ha

I was watching the episode where Ron Bailey sideswipes Fletch and runs him off

that Fletch's truck was an old Chevy pickup. You can clearly see "Chevrolet" on
the tailgate in the first shot of Fletch. But then in the

Several years ago, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a "Mayberry

It's so hard to narrow my favorite lines down to a manageable list. However,
there is one line that I have to say is my very favorite. It's from Barney at

Hey Barb,
I remember 3 show off hand that contains bugs.
1. The Pickle story where Barney tries to shoo away a fly off the kerosene
cucumbers but it's already dead.
2. The episode of the visiting Preacher where Opie catches a fly in his hand
during church.
3. I think it's the episode of Newt
In the episode where the church is trying to by an organ from a gentleman. (I
don't recall his name in this episode but he also played Mr. Hendricks, the
butter and egg man.) Anyway, when they go to look at the organ, I believe that
Andy plays the organ briefly at the home.

Hey Greg,
I believe "Amanda" was in the episode where Barney is trying to find a wife for
Andy. He calls a group of ladies to Andy's house telling them Thelma Lou wants
to speak to them. He thought Andy could pick one out of the group. Amanda is
the first lady to arrive at Andy's house. I th
I have been watching the comments on how Andy was able to capture this convict

talking about. My opinion is that he was able to do it because he was "Andy".

There are so many funny lines that I laugh at a lot. But the one that

I believe there is one other time I haven't seen mentioned yet. If it was

form the Miracle Salve Company. They were both dressed in suits then.
Andrew,
Don't forget the time when they had a hearing to see if Andy was going to be
removed from office after Barney told those things to that "college kid" that
was actually a reporter for Mr. Jackson.

One that comes to mind is when Barney thinks he has arrested the robber of the

Of course, as you mention

I think one of mt favorite "dramatic moments" i.e. tear jerker , is in the

And then Andy swallows hard and gives Opie a big hug. Ge

Mr. Schwump,
Mayor Stoner refers to him as "Andrew" as does Howard's mother, Mrs. Spraig. I

Joe,
I think that there may be two other possibilities to the question of Otis
appearing in an episode and not being in jail or drunk. I mentioned the Mr.

Taylor". I can't really remember Otis being drunk or in jail on
