I actually had to look up what the dt dd tags where for.
I've never used them.
I've been searching and experimenting but I can't find the answer to this
problem.

In answer to your question, no. You can't make an ordered list
display numbers

Thanks Stephen, but your example shows the second list item plus
I have to agree with Stephen on this one if the customer wants 2a and 2b to
be the same level as the whole numbers a fake list is the only way to do.
Semantically Stephen's example is the correct way to do it.
