Leigh,
What's the CPU load like when the reporting page is being accessed? I
have something similar in one of my projects and had to introduce
caching for the reporting pages due to the way it would hammer the CPU
(99% usage for upwards of 10 minutes). Luckily I have the application

I just wanted to mention, since it's been brought up, that I have taken
the time integrate Pyro (pyro.sourceforge.net) into Webware for the
purpose of spaning Webware across multiple machines. I have a rough
version already in production use, where I have three inter-linked
applications running un
ostly PSP pages
that the designers are updating on a regular basis, and are constantly
causing exceptions on.

I have no idea if this is relevent, but there is an issue with lock-ups
on Redhat 9 (and 8 too?) that has to do with how it handles threads.
It's a known bug with the stock kernel and can be fixed by updating the
kernel, or more simply by typing this at the command line before
executing Webware:
ually have something to show.

I've had the machine for a couple of years, even just leasing a new
server from EV1 and canceling my current one would get me a better
system for cheaper.

Jason, or anyone else, if you're willing to put in the work to get
things orginized then I think I can part with some system resources for
the good of the group.
Drop me a line ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), or find me on IRC if you want to
discuss it further.

Thanks for the help guys. Adding LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19 seems to have
done the trick. I'm going to see about getting the kernel and glibc
library upgraded.

I've actually run into something similar, I was planning to post
something about it. I've set up Webware (0.8.1) on a Redhat 9.0 machine
and I'm using Apache 2.0.48 and mod_webkit2. During my testing I've
started to notice some stability issues. Webware just seems to lock up,
it doesn't return a
ns on 7.3.

I have just installed Webware on a new redhat 9.0 install and everything
seems to be working well, but when I do a "ps -ef" I notice that only
one thread is being created. I have checked the config files and it's
set to create a minimum of 5 threads and the startup message says
