First of all, thank you for the time you put in looking at this issue.
Sometime copying and pasting does not work either...learned the hard way.
It will take a few days, but I will delete the months that are causing the
issue and re-import them. If all else fails, will delete a records f

One good thing about importing historical data, it's not going anywhere so
you can take your time to get it right.

Thanks everyone, i guess I will start writing my database to a usb stick
then. My power supply is not as reliable (buying an easyacc power bank is
one of todo items) . Hence i would prefer to keep sd card as RO so that OS
doesn't get corrupted atleast.
I will do a manual backup to a secondary usb
Ah, I've just relocated the goal posts then.
It's still a winner though.

Not quite that impressive. It's 3 years and 2+ months:

Probably belongs on rorpi, but this is worth saying here.
Tom K (weew2x's author) has reported that he's had a raspberry pi running
for 5 years?? at 5 minute intervals, with an sqlite database and standard
skin. I have to say that is mightly impressive. Seriously impressive; but

Yngve,
you have rapidfire enabled on the pi - I would first turn that off.
Also disable cumulusrealtime and see if that is related. It might be the
combination of both factors.

If you are trying to compare why weewx works ok on one system and not the
other then I suggest you make sure that weewx.conf and skin.conf files are
the same. If there are differences then I have to ask you why they are
different. You cannot compare two systems if the conf files are

Hello Andrew!
There is a certain difference of weewx.conf between Raspberry and Mint18.3!
I do not know if the difference is important?
I've been trying to make changes and additions that I found to try to fix

Hi Cameron!
The station WMR300 is standard, *no extra* sensors!
I joined WMR300 yesterday 28 Jan 3:15 pm to my desktop computer Mint 18.3
and seems to have worked OK! Joined RaspberryPi today 29 Jan 4:30 pm and
now with no air pressure.
So it is obvious that my RaspberyPi does not fully work out!
Hi sinantc34!
I have now put true on rapidfire in weewx.conf. I have no idea what
rapidfire does?

Hello:
Using last weewx.
Using default skin.
Graphs show points and not lines.

Where is my problem?

Thanks for looking into the issue. Not in the area right now but later

They are quite odd readings.. Do you really have cloudbase and solar
radiation meters?
If not then maybe the mappings have gone awry?
Matthew will have a much better idea than me.

please try v0.14 of the wlink driver:

it looks like you have some gaps in your data, and this patch should make
the driver continue to process despite the gaps.

Rich,
I sat down and imported the Sep17 log you posted under weeWX 3.8.0 and it
imported 3877 records without any error. The Cumulus monthly log file uses
a fixed format date and time fields as the first 2 fields of the line; the

Your decision!! Personally I prefer my rpi to have a hdd when it is being
used as a 'real' computer, and a decent power supply helps with usb
issues. The rpi can be finicky and temperamental where power is
concerned. Everyone has their own 'solution' though, so i do not argue!!!
On Monday,
I think backing up to a USB stick say once or twice in a day should do.
Glen has instructions on how to set it up and I do have a lot of USB sticks
lying around. That would ensure that on next powerup I dont have to restore
more than a day's worth of data.

I would suggest you have a proper plan on how to cope with a read only rpi
- or maybe even just run the rpi and weewx in a standard configuration
until you know how everything works - especially if you do not have a RTC
installed. Also make sure that you are not running the latest NTP software

One additional detail - my pi is read only mode. On abrupt power down the
latest SQL database may not have been stored. Not sure if that messed up
anything though I believe the pi should have still rebuilt the records.

You should not have needed to use any utility at all - what made you decide
to use wee_database??.
If you had done nothing weewx would have retrieved records from the logger
