The limit is based on O2 absorption. It is hard limit, not hardware or
software based but atmospheric attenuation based.
2.5km is usually a slam dunk for 80GHz.

FTTH of course is a different metric altogether. Verizon wireline loves to

It can be done. If you want to do licensed I think it has to be 23GHz if I
recall.
Most companies in Mexico can't hold licenses. the licensed spectrum is
reserved for the telco's.
Probably best to contact a frequency coordinator that can guide you through
the process.

SAF certainly offers it... and it meets the gain and beamwidth requirements

In all seriousness though, use BBDGE or something similar. Biggest issue I
have had with monopoles over the years is interference on the cable. Had this
bite me many times. BBDGE resolved those issues.
