Rob, I'm not trying to be hurtful. I'm saying that there is a load of WiX work to be done and it seems odd to bite off a custom issue tracking system at the same time. There's nothing hurtful intended by that, I'm just saying you got a pretty full vision of future work to get done on Wi

As you've found, search still needs more work. Thus far I've focused on features that help us do triage since, as Blair pointed out, we're 600 behind. Fortunately, we're getting a bug workflow that's really starting to work for us and the *really* nice thing is we can now add features to make the w

Sounds like a bug then. I just ran "wix37.exe /layout .", and redist\dotNetFx40_Full_setup.exe is only 869 KB which leads me to believe that it's the web installer. This is WiX 3.7.1224.0. Sean > From: r...@robmensching.com > Date: Thu, 17 Oct 2013 08:07:25 -0700 > To: wix-users@lists.sourc

“dotNetFx40_Full_setup.exe” is the "full" installer, not the web installer. If you do /layout, that should give you everything you need to "burn a CD" and install via "sneaker-net". On Thu, Oct 17, 2013 at 6:37 AM, Sean Hall wrote: > Download the .NET 4 full offline installer yourself? > http:

I used “wix37.exe /layout” to get an offline installer. That’s worked fine. But the folder “redist” contains the file “dotNetFx40_Full_setup.exe” which is a web installer. Because of that it isn’t possible to install “wix37.exe” without an internet connection. Is there any solution to get a real

Yes, for some reason Rob has decided to roll his own issue tracking system and it currently doesn't have a search feature. As if there's isn't enough WiX work to get done. :) The "feature request" for that is on yet another bug tracking system: https://github.com/robmen/tinybugs/issues/33

Thanks. Now I also found out how to find them. "a little harder to search for" is a nice description for the fact that you have to explicitly add a "status:Untriaged" filter. Would be great if that was documented somewhere, usually a search without additional filters searches through all items ;
