I've been listening to and decoding weak signals down at the -20db level on
12 metres this afternoon - so the decoding in RC2 is remarkable and will
serve to further diminish JT65 traffic for sure.
Using Ft8 is like being immersed in a contest - fast and fu
Just installed 1.8.0 rc2 on 3 different machines; XP (hamfest freebie
Emachine 0.5GB Ram), Win7 (dell dual core 3.0gbs and 4GB ram) and fresh
win10 pro (Asus Athlon64 dual core 2.7gbs/4GB ram) .
All three are decoding FT8 with no CAT or PTT quirks.

When I installed rc2, it just changed back to the default audio devices. I
simply had to go into the menu and reselect the USB Audio Device for the
7300 and it's been fine since.

this is a transitory issue
This is on purpose as there is no consensus on the use of 60 M
frequencies throughout the world. It has been advised since RC1 that
you add them yourself according to the rules of your locality.
