(refreshing often) to see the packets that I missed. That's when I noticed that
my own station didn't show up, even though I heard it digi'ed by ISS.
Maybe I'll try using another instance of Xastir with a different SSID f
s APRS-IS dupe checking that is killing my echo'ed packets?
I did enable igate logging last week when I tried this and it shows a log of
the other stations I gated, but none of my own are listed.
Any ideas?

Ok, thanks for the info. I just looked at the code & now see where
map_WMS.c is adding the REQUEST, etc. I naively assumed the url was
being used as-is from the file. So on that note...never mind! :-)

etAprs maps aren't too bad, but if you can re-compile Xastir to use
shapefiles, there are shapfile maps that are much better.
Another option is to compile in Imagemagik and use the toporama maps, although
they don't look to good when you zoom in.

t is not supported
and I updated the zoneinfo manually. Seems like not all my time zone info was
updated. America/Vancouver was updated as well as PST8PDT, but not US/Pacific.
I put "TZ='America/Vancouver'; Export TZ" into my .profile file, logged out &
in again and
em shows the correct time. System clock is GMT. Is this an Xastir problem or my time zone
settings??

I haven't seen a compile error with Xastir for a _long_ time, but with today's
CVS, I got one. Looks like the new code Curt has added tor printing. Running
SuSE 7.3 here.
