I upgraded from XFree86 4.3 to 4.4, and carefully followed

I haven't worked on this problem for awhile, but there are a few things I've
deduced from playing with it. First, I haven't done anything with Xinerama.
My video cards were both Matrox Millennium II's. My monitors were not
matched, using just what I have available: I have a Dell D-1526T-HS for
Both video cards are Matrox Millennium II., cards 0 1.
Monitor 0 is an oldish Dell, and works fine for 640x480, 800x600, and
1024x768.
Monitor 1 is a much older Relysis that has more limitations, and is
fixed-frequency.
What I'm finding is that both monitors will work in these 3 resolutions
I think that I have my XF86Config-4 set the way I need for 2 displays. The

here.
I now have 4.0.3

I can't get my screens to change out of 640x480 mode. Here is a copy of my

Thank you, that seems to be having an effect. A new problem has shown
itself, and I'm going to have to try and swap monitors with other computers
heremy monitor1 is an old Compudyne, and I'm having trouble getting the
exact requirements for it.

I am using Red Hat 7.1 with whatever version of X that comes with it. I
just changed from using the video built-into the motherboard to using a pair
of Matrox Millennium II cardsexcept that only one of the matrox cards is
working, and nothing in the install made reference to the second card.
